Sir/Maam My age is 24 years and I am suffering from Prostatitis from 1 year, it all started after I masturbated one day in the morning and after that I had frequent urination problem and dribbling of some drops in paints after I urinate each time and I feel like their is some urine left and feel of emptying my bladder, So after some days when the problem worsen I had to go like 25-30 times toilet to urinate, so I decided to go to urologist and he gave me Zenflox Uti (ofloxacin+flavoxate) and roliflo OD2 (Tamsulosin+Tolterodine) for 7 days and started feeling good in 2-3 days but when the course got over it again started ,So Dr. recommended me roliflo OD 2 and antidepressant tablet for 1 month and after taking it I my situation got 90% better but few months ago the same problem started again after a course of masturbation so again I visited my urologist and this time he gave me Alfusin (Alfuzosin 10 mg) and Gabapin NT (Gabapentin+Hydrochloride) for 20 days and again when taking medicine I felt better but now the 20 day course is over and again I am feeling same problem of leaking drops after I urinate and sit on my bed or try to lay down backward, Please help me and tell me is their any cure for my problem in Allopathy or Homeopathy or Ayurveda.

I am 39 years old from Hyderabad. I am hale and hearty. I have allergic bronchitis, but currently on no medications. I have only one major problem that I have androgenic alopecia in the center of the head from back. Long back in 2001 I used Minoxidil. Did not observe whether it helped or not. Recently I have heard about Finasteride (Works on Type 2) and Dutasteride (Works on Type 1 & 2), a inhibitor of 5?-reductase enzyme which inhibits converting excess testosterone to dihydrotestosterone) which is primarily treated for BPH & secondarily treated for Hair Loss. I have done enough research on this. I do not know whether I have prostate enlargement or not. No pain surrounding pubic area, but when I do flatus sometime little drops of urine come when bladder is full. I have also read about its sexual side effects and its half life (traces in blood for nearly 6 mths even after stopping). I firmly believe that anything overdose leads to its side effects. Can I use this drug? I am planning to use 0.5 mg every five days so that it will be 0.1 mg every day. If I can use how long should I use?

Hello. Please do not use any medicinal tablets on your own. Please see a dermatologist for the same. Minoxidil solution helps in androgenetic Alopecia. You can use MorrF lotion 5% 1 ml twice a day for 3-6 months minimum to appreciate visible improvement.

I am suffering from seborrheic dermatitis (at least the doctors say that.) I have itchy scalp. Hair falls out (healthy ,thick hair). Some times with white flakes at the roots. I have had medications like ketoconazole, biotin and folic acid tablets, potent corticosteroids like beclometasone ,dutasteride, zinc acetate tablets also, aloe vera, moisturizers, nizoral shampoo, apple cider. Yeast free diet and anti inflammatory diet. Tried shaving off my head couple of times too. Nothing worked. I want to know the reason, why arent, my medications working. Is it something else similar too sd. Is it due to food intolerance? Scalp turns red. Itching, healthy hair falls out. Inflammation (mild). Rarely it cures itself for a day or some hours completely. Like once in two months. And my hair is too dull. And frizzy, and completely lifeless. Suggest me something.

I am 59 years old. For last few years having symptoms of increased urine frequency, occasional severe burning and nocturia. Not on any medicines except for allergic rhinitis. Doing yoga and meditation since 20 yrs. 1 and half month back had fever, git upset and increased burning in urine. Urine r/e .2 to 3 pus cells and urine culture negative. Blood crp 125. Did not get rtpcr for covid. Ultrasound shows bph gade 1.prostate 28gms and pvruv 52 ml out of 98 as pre void volume. Already treated and now better. Started on cap prostina once od and urikind twice daily and silodosin plus dutasteride combination since 15 days. How much time will it take for bph to come to normal. Already stopped tea, milk, saturated fats, citrous fruits. What should I do next.

It may take a few months for the prostate size to decrease. Till then continue taking symptomatic treatment as you already are. Follow up regularly with your doctor to check for prostate size and any changes.

One week back there was pain while urinating and next day stopped urine. After three days (i am given to understand I should not have waited for three days) went to hospital and removed the urine inserting catheter. sonography done, enlarged prostate in size 5.5 x 4.1 x 3.7 cms. 44 cc. 2017 sonography 4.3 x 3.4 x 3.5. They have advised me to go for operation. But the question is, is it necessary? Most of the people after the age of 60 have enlarged prostrate. Was it not possible that I had some temporary inflammation or stiffness in urinary organs and urine stopped? Is enlarged prostate of the size mentioned require operation? As it stands they have prescribed urimax d (tamsulosin hydrochloride & dutasteride )tablets. They warned me not to remove catheter unless I am operated. I am walking around with catheter. Your valuable advice please.

you can try removing cather after a week of therapy. if you pass urine normally after catheter removal then continue medicine, if you have difficulty while passing urine then you need surgery.

Can we take maxvoid plus 8 mg and silodal 8 together? Are they same or different.

No, do not take the two medicineds together. They both contain the same medicine silodosin. However maxvoid plus also contains another drug dutasteride.

Hello sir, from 2nd October I am having frequent urination issues. Specially starting from evening 6: 00 pm from 6 to 10: 00 pm. I am almost passing urine around 8 times. After that its fine. Also m feeling as if the pressure in urine is not good as it used to be. My urine routine, urine culture, usg for abdomen and prostate all are normal. Problem is still persisting. Also m feeling as if I am suffering from erectile disinfection my penis size in flaccid state is reduced much. I am highly stressed. Dr. has asked me to take Cital and urispas. I am taking this almost from 4 days but issue is still there. Please help. I am 36 years old. Also earlier I was having burning issues too which is solved now.

I have yellow urine and burning sensation from last 3 months. I already take cipro 500 as antibiotics for 7 days. But I did not get relief. I did urine test re and cs but no abnormalities there. Creatine level is 0.67. Sgot is 75. Usg of whole abandon is ok. I usually take 3 liters water from last 3 months. If I take a long gap between the taking of water. Urine becomes yellow and burning sensation. What to do sir? I did so many tests. First time in the usg it shows mild bladder cystitis but after 1 month I did again usg but there is no abnormalities.

Please get USG abdomen and pvrv and uroflow done. If reports are not satisfactory then you can start tab alfuzosin 10 mg once daily to increase the flow of urine.

I am 65 years old male, due to prostate enlargement, as per Dr. advice I am having tamdura cap. Since for 1 year, after then I am facing ed (erection dysfunction. I am cardiac (cabg done 12 years back) diabetic n thyroid patient. These are the reasons or tamdura cap, particularly I am facing the problem from using the capsules. Please let me know if there is any remedy for ed problem.

Tamdura is tamsulosin + dutasteride, dutasteride is a 5alpha reductase inhibitor which prevents activation of testosterone to dht, you can solve this problem by taking an alpha blocker which doesn't cause retrograde ejaculation such as alfuzocin 10 mg, for erection problem any tadalafil 5 mg formulation is safe, talk to your urologist about avoiding dutasteride.
