Hello, you are taking right medicine for prostate hypertrophy if you still have problem in passing urine then you can go for catheterization.

Dose of drug is according to half life of it. Urimax d should be taken once a day preferable at bed time. If still problem persist then surgery (TURP) might be required.

What is the size of your prostate gland on last sonography.
It is advisable to repeat usg with pvr. If they are within normal range then can stop urimax.
If symptoms increase on stopping it then you will need to restart it or undergo turp.

It’s not a documented side effect of urimax d. U need to consult your attending physician for the same.

Continue it for some more weeks. If you do not get requisite relief, then get a urodynamic study (from a urologist) to guide further line of management, which maybe a surgical intervention.

don't worry take medicine for as long as it is given. it is side effect of urimax. you will be normal once you stop the medicine.
