Hello I am 22 and I missed my periods and test is positive. I took abortion pill Mifepristone yesterday at 9 am and my bleeding is not yet started when will it be started and I am asked to take Misoprostol tomorrow. Is there any answer to tell when will I start bleeding?

Bleeding can start sometimes after 48 hours. You are getting pain that is a sign abortion will start. If you don't get bleeding after 48 hrs consult doctor from where you have taken abortion pills.

Hello doc , I had mifepristone 200 mg 2 pills on 18th and misoprostol 200 mp 2pills on 20th orally and 2pills vaginal and I puked after 15 mins if misoprostol ,i had heavy cramps and nauseous feeling ,bt very lil bleeding , now its 21st can I start the process again or should I go for d and c .

Hi lybrate-user generally I advice patients to repeat the medications if they vomit within 30 mins of taking it. Given that you have taken the medications just 1 day back I would advice you to wait atleast 1 week to see what happens.

My wife take a pill of mifepristone tablet yesterday at 11 pm and bleeding started at 8 pm heavily, after 24 hour today 11 pm take two tablets of misoprostol but bleeding was stopped. After three hours at 2 am vomiting started. Remain two tablets of misoprostol taken at 3 pm. She is feeling very cold. No any bleeding.

Just check with nearest gynecologist if abortion was complete. If not then curetting can be advised. Also check how is her blood pressure, and pulse and heart rate. Heavy blood loss can make her feel cold and weak. I take lot of fluids and iron rich diet.

I had 3-4 unwanted 72 pills in a month then I didn't get periods at a proper time and before knowing whether pregnant or not I had mifepristone tab but still not bleeding so just I wanted to know why this happened after having mifepristone didn't bleed why. Thank you.

It's because you took 3-4 unwanted 72. This tablet contains high amount of hormones and that's why your.menstrual cycle is disturbed. Wait for periods. Don't take hormonal tablet haphazardly. You can consult me through Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment and further guidance.

This is not the right way to take MTP pill, should be taken under guidance of Gynaecologist.
now you can get ultrasound done for any retained products, and consult gynecologist accordingly.

Definitely you should go for termination as those pills may create problems for your baby.
But do it soon so that your wife doesn't bleed much. Earlier the better.
