Reducing the medicine has to be done under medical supervision. Reduce it to 20 mg and monitor every day for 15 days. If things are fine then fix the dose. But if there is fluctuation then go back to 40. But this has to be done under a doctor supervision only.

AMH blood levels are thought to reflect the size of the remaining egg supply, number of eggs cannot be increased or decreased. In such cases IVF has to be done, Gynecologist can explain you better. If you have oligospermia then you also may need medication, consult a sexologist.

It is not AMH level which decides your treatment. Any couple desirous of pregnancy and not getting same naturally must meet Gynecologist or infertility specialist accepting facts that it needs many reports and different trials of treatment. Means couple must have patience and go to one in whom they have trust to stick for long time.

In the present study, AMH levels were similar under fasting conditions and after ingestion of glucose or a meal. Therefore, testing to evaluate ovarian reserve by AMH measurement in women does not need to be controlled for food intake. There is no relationship of AMH and glucose levels in pregnant women

Studies are therefore needed to determine if the effects of chronic reversal of Vit D deficiency affects either the quality of oocytes and/or the rate of depletion of ovarian reserve. Clinical decisions based on serum AMH levels predominantly relate to women with limited ovarian reserve and low AMH levels.
