A lot depends on what you consider loose motion and what feeds the baby is on. If the baby is on breast milk, even 7-8 semi formed stools are not really diarrhoea. If the baby is not loosing any weight, passing urine normally, feeding normally, not vomiting, it is not diarrhoea. The point is if it is not really diarrhoea, why are we treating it all.
