I think. As you r on medication since 2011 for ocd wid relieving symptoms. Symptoms you mentioned might be part of restless leg syndrome. Which can be because of medications ,anxiety. And other causes. Usually benzodiazepine like clonazepam is used which you r already taking. Yes in addition to this you can try trihexyphendyl or levodopa carbamamazapine. For your symptoms. U can also avoid caffeine. Maintain sleep hygiene. Leg massage can also help.

Some patients require Trihexyphenidyl some do not. Its better that you discuss its need with your treating Psychiatrist. As far as lifetime treatment goes your treating Doctor must be knowing your course of illness in past 20 years and so it's best that you go with his advice regarding the type of medicine as well as the dose.

These problems are either they are too busy or due to anxiety and stress. Busy people use organizers or employ a personal assistant because they can't remember every task. Dear lybrate-user,
If your psychiatrist says, it is due to anxiety. Please believe it and deal with your anxiety in non medical methods. If he says that these medicines don't have side effect, like difficulty in passing urine. There may be other reasons for your difficulty which gets precipitated by any medicine. I don't know your age. But I know you are a man. It may be due to prostate enlargement. Why don't you consult an urologist or get one ultrasound abdomen and pelvis with measurement ...more

Hi lybrate-user,
I appreciate you seeking help. What is your occupation at present? Well, your BP is still within normal limits. The increase in systolic pressure could be transient, mostly because of diet/ lifestyle issues including stress at study/ work. For the time being, I would advise you to check your dietary habits, especially cut down on salt, and other greesy/ oily & fatty foods including fast foods. A Mediterranean diet is advisable. Stay well hydrated too. Ensure that you streaml...more
