Hello lybrate-user, please stop using melacare cream completely. It is a triple combination cream and is not to be used for long as it contains a steroid. After stopping it’s usage your skin can start showing signs of steroid overuse such as increased pigmentation, thinning, hair growth etc. Use a mild facial cleanser and a good moisturiser and a sunscreen for now. Consult a dermatologist for further treatment.

Hii dear...This cream is a combination of hydroquinone, tretinoin, and steroid. It is a skin lightening medication used for hyperpigmentation, it has lot of side effects when used on normal skin. Long term use of steroids can cause infections, acneiform eruption, atrophy, etc. Long term use of hydroquinone can cause exogenous ochronosis. Kindly avoid such creams for skin lightening. It must only be used for hyperpigmentation when indicated.

Home remedy Wash and clean your face thoroughly and then apply a thin layer of plain yogurt and let it sit on affected areas for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off. This vitamin is a great melasma home remedy because it helps inhibits melanin production and helps your skin recover more quickly.
