He needs to be treated by a psychiatrist as opioid withdrawal is not that easy. The alternative medications need to be carefully dosed under supervision and is not available in the general medical store.

Hi,
taking pain-killer like tramadol is not the solution for the pain. So, it's very important to know the cause of body pains in your case. As simple nutritional deficiency can cause general weakness and body-pains. Get the thorough check-up done annually.
Would advise you to take homoeopathic medicines - alfaalfa tonic and five phos. - both thrice daily, and let me know about your condition after a month. Management:

This need to be managed after getting admitted in a psychiatric ward.
Meanwhile try to reduce the dose by about 1 tab of tramadol as well as clonazepam.
This will cause some withdrawal symptoms for about a week.
Try adding some physical exercise like yoga or running in your routine which will decrease the intensity of craving and other withdrawal symptoms follow universal sleep hygeine, most importantly do not use bed for lying down or sleeping during day time.

Dear Lybrate user,
This appears to be autonomic dysfunction due to uncontrolled Diabetes.
Better control of sugars and better control of BP with vitamins and antioxidants to be given.
Adjustment of medicines dosage will also help.

Very strange to know that you developed fibromyalgia at the young age of 15. Myself is a homoeopath and I think that homoeopathic treatment can help you in a more effective way rather than to go on taking such painkillers which can cause some adverse reactions in our body if used for long. So discuss your case in detail so that we can find a solution of this stress related syndrome-------------------

Additional medications containing tramadol include ultram er, an extended release formulation for round-the-clock pain relief, and ultracet, a combination of tramadol and acetaminophen (tylenol).
