Sir, I am a diabetic and taking azulix 1mf forte twice in a day. My fbs generally between 120 to 130. But after 2 hrs of lunch it shoots to 210 mg/dl ang falls to 150 in 3 to 3.5 hrs. When I was diagnosed with diabetes my a1c was 11.8 later with azulix 2mf forte it came to 6.7 in 3 months. But changed to azulix 1 mf then a1c changed to 7.7 in 6 months. Now taking 1 mf forte for the last one month. Is it that very bad to have over 200 mg/dl. I am taking ragi in the night and oats in the morning. But taking rice for lunch. I am really worried. Can you please suggest me.

Who tell u to take rice in the lunch just stop ol those thing and continue same drugs and after stop those thing just do fbs and ppbs and revert me back surely ur drug dose will decrease

I have seen the details mentioned. It is always good to use the tablets as prescribed prescribed the doctor. Tablet gluconorm g2 is usually to be taken before food (either breakfast or lunch or dinner as the case may be). Tablet voglitor mf is usually recommended after food either once or two or three times a day (depending upon the blood glucose and doctor's opinion. Hi I have menorrhagia, been bleeding for a while n I took pause mf to stop the flow. Taken 3 tablets a day for 6 days. Still not stopped. Having stomach pain today. Is this because of pause? Planning to start primolut after 1 more day of tablets.

pain is not due to pause mf .while taking pause mf you must not had pain because pause mf contains trenexamic acid and mefenemic acid ,latter is a antispasmodic.
as now you're not taking it must be having cramps

I am having pcod since last 7 years. Dr. Recently changed my medicine from diane 35 to yasmin tablet. Now I am having heavy bleeding and clot after 6th day of my periods. Dr. Prescribe me to take yasmin along with the etosys mf and I am taking yasmin since 5th day of my period and etosys mf since 6th day of my periods night. Today is 8th day since having periods and clot can I take both these medicines together. Why is still bleeding.

Yes you can take both the tablets together. If it continues to bleed better to get one ultrasound abdomen and pelvis done and follow up with the report.

Hi I had a long period cycle starting 16th March and on 29th March when it did not stop I decided to go to a gym. She conducted all my test and did trans vaginal sonography also. All my test were ok with some insufficiency of vitamins d was recorded and endometrial lining of 8.1 mm thick was recorded. Based on the medical input the doctor designed a 3mths course of cycloreg and some more medicines to be taken .she also added some vitamin d supplements. Folic acid and gave me pause mf for 5 days to stop bleeding .my bleeding did stop on 2nd April. I religiously was taking medicines prescribed I.e.cycloreg twice a day and from 12th bleeding again started and I spoke to her and she advised pause mf. But on 17th April my flow increased and shdcanaltsed that I have again started my cycle from 16th March background. So she has stopped my cycloreg and pause mf is continued with supplements. From day 7th I am told to report back and thn she will reassess. My worry is I am bleeding a lot yesterday I changed 5pads after eating 3 pause mf and taking one revici injection. Is it ok to bleed this much. Will it happen like this and then settle. I am taking 3 pause mf a day at s gap of 8 hrs. Any side effects. Pls clarify my doubts.

No it is not ok to bleed this much .. and my suggestion is to start homoeopathic treatment side by side or instead... it is your choice... as it can give faster results as well as will prevent recurrence..

Mr. Lybrate-user, normal sugar level is same for a non diabetic person or one with diabetes. To say that your diabetes is in good control, fasting should be nearer 100 mg and pp between 150 to 160 mg. And hba1c%<7. To achieve this apart from appropriate treatment diet control and exercise are also equally important.
