Even after taking medications for high blood sugar, if the blood sugar is not in control, it indicates that the root cause of diabetes is still not being treated. Allopathy medicines only reduce the blood sugar but do not treat the root cause of the disease. Diabetes is a lifestyle disorder which can be treated only with lifestyle changes. Ayurvedic system of medication digs deeper into the problem and tries to treat the disease from the root. Thats why, although ayurvedic medicines will take ti...more

Mr Subodh Pandey, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details, you are already on mltiple drugs for controlling blood glucose. (It is T2 DM needing Insulin). You have mentioned all the drugs being taken, which are plenty even to control glucose. But there is no mention about either the diet pattern or the extent of daily exercise being done.
Drugs are just one part of the treatment, other two are diet and exercise and weight control. So you need to concentrate on those two aspects. ...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It appears you have uncontrolled diabetes. You are referring to HbA1c% of 9% I think. In a well controlled diabetic person FBG should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP should be 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.5%
Therefore there is a need to look at your overall treatment which includes drugs being taken, with their dosage, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and maintaining of normal body weight. We also have look at other details like lipid profile, BP...more

Hi
You have maintained a good HbA1C value. Individual high blood sugars depends on what you eat prior to it. Have a high protein diet to keep your blood sugars low. Have an early dinner. Avoid high calorie food for dinner.
if your a non vegetarian include 2 egg whites everyday for breakfast and you can consume skinless chicken and fish.

As hba1c is on higher side, it's important to be particular about food choices & timings. Properly follow the do's and don't of a diabetic diet.
Avoid sweets & sweetened beverages from diet.
Avoid high starchy foods and sweetened fruits & vegetables from diet such as rice, bananas, chickoo, grapes, mango, litchi, potatoes. Include more fiber such as dalia, & whole pulses in diet as they have low glycemic index and helps to control blood glucose levels.
