Hi, I am suffering from migraine .I am having a terrible heachace on daily basis on top of that I am having a running nose and my throat is getting dry continuously .i am felling uneasy in my throat all the time and there is terrible headache at my eyes currently my doctor prescribed betacap plus 10 and topamac 25 mg.

My psychiatrist has prescribed librium 10 TDS, topiramate 25 BD and bupropionSR 150 OD. I have read that there is life threatening interaction between bupropionSR and benzodiazepine. I have been using this combination for long time. Earlier lithium carbonate and etizolam were also given now they have been stopped. I am very scared. My psychiatrist is not responding to my calls and messages. Please help me.

My friend was taking maxgalin 75 mg and topamac for 6 weeks as he had alcoholic seizure. He was fine while taking the medicine. He almost cured from alcoholism.in between he drank for 2, to 3 days Max to max. But soon after finishing the course of medicine he feel so sleepy whole day and drowsiness, l.he sleeps more than usual. He started shivering again just after he wakes up in the morning. Loss of appetite again. What to do?

the abnormality in datscan is suggestive of dopamine depletion. So your tremors might be related to parkinsons disease. The therapy you are taking needs to be discussed in detail. I would recommend stopping aripiprazole.
And rest of the medicines need to be streamlined. Its better if you consult a neurologist in person or on video call to assess your tremors.

I have been suffering from onside headache, dizziness and constant poor coordination. Doctors suggests me to have T. Propranolol, T. Amitriptyline, T. Topiramate. I have taken only once that nyt I had good sleep bt suddenly numbness and tingling in arms and fingers wake me up at early 3 am. I'm so much worried. I can't sleep anymore. It gone away only at 10 am. Wat is the reason for that?

I have had migraine for about 15 years but lately it became worse and became chronic so I sought treatment and went to a neurologist. The Dr. Prescribed my 25 mg topiramate (25 mg increment per week to 100 mg daily) + 20 mg propranolol. This has greatly helped me get rid of migraine. Its been three months since I started taking it but now I feel like this medicine is making me angry all the time. I get depressed as well. My mood swings are off the charts. I feel like crying one minute and the next im ok? Is it possible?

Health Query

I was diagnosed as case of bipolar disorder about 20 years ago since then I was under treatment. Though I had psychiatric treatment earlier also. At present I am being treated by a veteran retired visiting psychiatrist and on librium tapering off. It is reduced from 10 mg TDS to 5 mg BD in last three weeks and we are likely to finish it in next three weeks. I am taking bupropionSR 150 OD and topiramate 25 BD. I am also taking amlopres. I feel anxiety and hyperdynamic specially in morning to noon rest of the day is normal. I take librium 5, topiramate 25 and amlopres at 7.00 from 8-12 or so I feel above mentioned symptoms rest of the day is normal. As I read more about the disorder medicines prescribed, their interaction and side effects watched related videos I feel more scared and confused. My question is tapering off schedule and treatment wise are we on right track?

I am 24 year old ocdian suffering from ocd from past 10 years though a bit of small to moderate symptoms were present earlier also but they were not as intense as one's life would stop. I was on paxidep cr 62.5 mg for a long time and on oleanz 1.25 mg for 3 months last year in april but they were weight gaining medicine so my doctor prescribed topiramate 25-50 mg .I took it for 14 days and left oleanz as my wt was about 95 kg. I don't know what happened my nature of thoughts completely changed from then. My thoughts had started coming in a slow manner and they were resistant to any therapy I would practice. Also thoughts of guilt and compulsion which had stopped coming long back restarted again. I took paxidep for 5 more months along with buspin 15 mg for few months. But there was hardly any change I noticed in my condition. I realized that the medicines are hardly having any effect on me. So I stopped the medicines for about 50 days and I saw no change in my symptoms after withdrawal also. My doctor was not understanding my situation So I changed the doctor and they changed my medicines and even then my thoughts slowed down much more. Now when I am studying anything l learn is looking same as anything I don't remember. It's almost become impossible to study. My other concern is that my anxiety has fallen down rapidly after that topiramate incident. So What exactly has happened?
