Dear Lybrate user
it Will be a good option for you that along with the medicine prescribed by your Doctor you need to consult a clinical psychologist. Also it will be better that you follow up with the Psychiatrist regarding the medicines. You can not stop or increase the dose without his consent as it will lead to many harmful consequences. Plus if you feel any side effects consult the psychiatrist.
All the best.

Dear Saikat,
The doctor might have diagnosed a mood disorder in addition to your nicotine dependance. Unless the mood is stabilised, you may not be able to quit smoking. It may not reduce craving - but it will keep your motivation to quit high continuously for more than 3 months. You yourself will learn how to observe the craving going down without smoking.

Topiramate is an anti-epileptic drug, which can be used to treat various neurological disorders like migraine. Where neophedan contains tamoxifen citrate which is a nonsteroidal antiestrogen used to treat breast cancer. They do not belong to same class of drugs. Can you please mention why are you taking topiramate? By the way topiramate can never be substituted by neophedan.

No, its not because of medicine. U did urine pregnancy test early. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test.
