There are many reasons for hair loss. The main reason is nutritional. Iron and calcium deficiency can cause hair loss. Eat enough of proteins, green leafy vegetables and fruits containing vit a c and b complex. Also rule out dandruff. Wash you scalp every alternate day.

What sort of bald patches you are referring. You need to consult a Dermatologist again. Regarding your excess hair growth on your cheeks, yes this could be be because of improper uses of minoxidil. May be you are not washing your hands after applying minoxidil or it could also occur because of dribling of minoxidil if you immedoately go to bed after applying.

Qilib men solution 6-8 sprays once daily at night for one month
Use Anaphase shampoo. Increase intake of protein diet & Green leafy
