Dont sleep at day time, dont take tea/cofee after last light, stop drinking water 2 hrs before sleep, have a comfortable bed and clothing and then you discontinue this medication gradually. take 1/2 tablets for 10 days and then stop. You will be surprised that you can get rid of it easily.

The reason might be due to many causes. Commonest here would be a stroke involving temporal lobe, leading to aphasic speech (irrelevant), which can be confirmed by a mri scan of the brain. Second reason can be due to dementia, which happens to shrinkage of the brain affecting recent memory and which is caused/ aggravated by the sleeping pill, alprazolam. Lead a healthy lifestyle have balanced diet avoid alcohol and red meat. Have light dinner go for regular morning walk followed by free hand exercises and have some yoga and pranayum like padmasan and kapal bhatee. Etc. 1. strict to sleep time schedule

2. Do regular Physical activity

3. Regular meditation/ yoga

4. avoid Tea coffee after 7 pm

5. you can take bath at bed time

6. Avoid day time sleep

7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes
