Depending on the severity medicine varies. Fungal infection or Ring worm. When occurs in groin, called as jock itch. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds. It's mostly circular or round in appearance. May be red or black in colour. Treatment depending on the type and severity. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it. As it has to be differentiated from eczema and infection, its a must to see and confirm the diagnosis for proper treat...more

Hi, I am suffering from fungal infection from last 4 months initially I have taken treatment for this (terbinaforce plus tube, tab terbinafine and tab levocet) then ringworm disappeared after 15 days they again reappears on my thighs then I have taken fluconazole tab with some fungal skin related tube and absorb powder then there is no improvement after that I have taken again (terbinafine tube, tab terbinafine and tab levocet) continues to take for 2 months so ringworms disappears but there are marks like stretches so I have changed medicine through consulting doctor (itraconazole 200 mg and luliconazole) for 1 and half month and then there is no relief in stretch marks so doctor changed my tube (sertaconazole 2%) instead of luliconazole. But there is no relief in my fungal infections. Please advice some best thing.

From your history the diagnosis I can think of is ring worm infection (tinea corporis/ cruris). Oral terbinafine is effective in tinea but terbinafine cream is not that much helpful. U can use luliconazole cream instead of terbinafine cream. Maintain hygiene .keep separate towel for you. Keep the skin dry. Use antifungal soap.(avoid harsh soap. Visit nearest dermatolgist. Thanks.

It may not be ringworms. There are many things that look alike. Correct diagnosis can lead to correct treatment.
