lybrate-user, at this point, we need to identify why you are having these symptoms. It can be because of too low blood pressure (116/75 shouldn't cause it), too low heart rate (or pulse), low blood sugar, or other causes. Next time when you feel like that, get to nearest healthcare facility and at least get these things checked.
It may be a good idea to check with your doctor as well in case he/she wants to change your medicines.
Take care.

Hi.
This is definitely not related to bp or the bp medicines that he is taking presently. Most commonly this is related to dehydration. And this is very common in hot summer seasons like this one. So my advice is to take plenty of fluids orally, have fruits and fruit juices and avoid the hot sun. He should be fine with this. Take care.

Yes better to stop lipikind f. It is a medicine which is almost never required, and should not be given to hypertension patients.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Beta blockers are used quite often to control hypertension and related cardiac problems in patients with diabetes also. They are fairly safe. Some times hypoglycemic episodes may not be easily recognised. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user,
atenolol is not the treatment for depression. There are effective treatments like antidepressants and therapy. Please consult a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. Why did you take so much of atenolol? Is it with suicidal intention? If so, there is urgent need to consult a psychiatrist.
You have the normal side effects of atenolol. Your worry of skin necrosis, may be a part of your untreated depression. It is called as nat - negative automatic thought!
