Avoid cholesterol medicines unless you have already suffered heart attack.
Other medicines ok, if you wish to reduce pills, discuss about telmisartan and amlodipine combination pill with your Dr, it will control BP with single tablet.

Hello, thanks for the query.
For taking telmisartan with amlodipine, there is no specific instruction as to be taken only in the morning or before food or with food. Only thing is to take it regularly at a specific time every day. Similarly, fasting also will have no effect on taking it in the morning. Thanks.

Amlodipine induced pedal edema usually takes some time to resolve. It depends on how much edema was there on first hand. But still there are something’s that should be checked out at least considering patient is known hypertensive. Get s.creat, potassium, sodium done. This is bare minimum. Review with reports.
