Please understand medicines are only a part of comprehensive management of hypertension.
Lifestyle changes like decreased salt consumption, regular exercise, managing weight, stopping alcohol, smoking, having a disciplined life, sound sleep for 7-8 hours, doing some relaxation activities like yoga, morning walk are all equally important as medicines.
Get yourself evaluated for secondary causes of hypertension which are correctable like kidney disorders, thyroid problems, sleep apnoea.more

Microalbuminuria indicates that diabetes has affected the filtering function of kidneys. The aim of telmisartan is to prevent further kidney damage as may happen in diabetes. Don't chase the microalbumin values. There is no point in repeating it frequently.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query
High blood pressure and diabetes both diseases can be well controlled with appropriate treatment, dietary control and regular exercise. All three aspects are equally important. Stopping antihypertensive medication is bound to increase the blood pressure. Once the treatment is begun, at least a few days are needed for the particular drug to show its effect consistently. Same is the case with blood glucose or diabetes. Thanks.

Take it at a fixed time everyday. Early morning is a good time to take it, so yes you can take it before you go for exercise.

Telma Am has two medicines in it, maybe you need one of these not two. See your doctor and get it adjusted as per your BP requirements.
