Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. Madam for a person with 85 years of age, glimiperide is not suitable. Other drugs can be given provided his kidney functions are good. That can be seen by serum creatinine and urea levels. So please check those. Because if egfr (glomerular filtration rate) is < 45 ml/minute then then meformin should not be started particularly at that age. So first please check all those levels and inform the same or consult a physician there. I...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
All the drugs presently used in treating diabetes are quite safe including pioglitazone.
In a well controlled person fasting glucose should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8%. So please see that these levels are achieved. Thanks.

Therefore please give following details: fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, bp readings, lipid profile, serum creatinine, urea, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercises, weight and height. On seeing those necessary details...more

The levels of AMH are related to no of growing follicles in a ovary and are fairly constant throughout the cycle. So it is difficult to explain the variation .

Hi
your amh level is low which suggest you have pcos. Lose some weight. Start folic acid and try during your fertile period.
