She is on Tablet cefixime 200 mg and azithromycin250 mg bd Tab montelukast10 mg and levocetirizine e5 mg hs Tab pcm od Syp grilinctus 1-1-1 Nebulised with budecort and duolin bd Is she is Receiving correct treatment.

My father is suffering from fever since 16 days. The temperature is consistently 101-102. We gave him azithromycin 250 twice for 3 days along with paracetamol 650 and then cefixime 200 twice for 3 days. Presently giving doxycycline 100 mg twice along with pybactum 4.5 every 8 hours. Have given 5 injections but fever hasn't come to normal. Slight chest congestion as per xray and 10-12 pus cells found in urine. Apart from that no other symptoms. Please suggest if we are in the right track. Thank you!

I'm 26-year-old female. I had unprotected sex with my bf 1 month ago. He got uti 1 week after that. But I had no symptoms before or after that. Still, I took azithromycin 1g and cefixime 400 mg on my doctor friends advice. But now my bf again got uti symptoms and I'm feeling a burning sensation around my vagina after I urinate although we are using protection every time now. Do I need to take the antibiotics course again?

This time it's better that both of you go for urine r/m & culture senstivity testing done & start antibiotics based upon reports only else there are high chances of getting resistance to microrganisms & you might land up hospitalsation & requiring iv antibiotics for treatment. Till then 1. Plenty of oral fluids (lemonade/ cranberry juice)

Certain preparations of vitamin -c; zinc; iron ;calcium etc. Are making irritation of lining of gastro intestinal system and this may produce bloating -- buffering of such items are done in some preparations --so that such problems are minimum--also advice --take such tablets after a full meal only -----ok.

From last wed I started getting fever with maximum temperature of 100.4 with no other symptoms. So for the first 5 day I only took fever medicine on sos basis. Then I referred doctor and he suggested zifi o 200 antibiotic which I took for another 2-3 days and also got tested for typhoid, cbc and urine, all reports are ok. Then again visited another doctor this time he gave taxim o 400 mg and azithromycin for 3 days. Now it's been around 10 days although there is improvement in fever but I am still getting temperature of 99.4-99.5 in evening part of day with no fever when I got up in the morning. So kindly suggest whether my treatment is going in the right direction or I need to get all the test done.

Sir I am 24 years of age I had unprotected oral sex and protected anal sex with a guy. After 4 days I was experiencing pain while urinating and when I wake up in morning and squeeze penis I get semen like thing. One of my friends diagnosed it as gonorrhea and claymadia and prescribed me with azithromycin (1 gm) and cefixime (200 mg) to be taken in a single dose. I took it and after 3 days the pain while urinating is somewhat gone but I still get the white color cheesy liquid after squeezing penis. What medicine shall I take? I have earlier suffered from candidiasis. And what are the chances of getting hiv through all this. Though even after 14 days I do not have any symptoms associated with hiv through all this. Since I am in the window period is there any need to take the test?
