Asked for male, 62 years old from Samastipur

I am suffering from Thyroid Complications as indicated by its TSH value Which is now 4. 2.My Physician has still advised Mr. to take Thyroxine 25 mcg daily. Is it OK? My next problem is that I have been detected with mild BPH and the Doctor has advised me to take Urimax 0.4 mg daily at better. Is the cont'd use of Urimax effect Blood pressure also. Please communicate.

you may continue taking if you have symptoms of hypothyroidism. also if initially the tsh was very high and it is under control with the drug. u may continue taking. urimax may cause fall in bp. but as it is the drug of choice fr bph u may continue taking if u are not symptomatic like if u dont have dizziness etc.

Hi, I was having problem as I had to urinate very frequently and I was treated for UTI but after 15 more days my ultrasound showed a little enlarged prostrate and I was prescribed urimax D.But now after 15 days I am feeling ok and fine almost as good as normal. My question is small I continue with urimax D or shall I discontinue?

You can continue this medicine as long as you feel comfortable with it. Medicine for prostate is usually taken for a longer period.

You can continue medicine as long as you are comfortable with it. Usually medicine for prostate continue for longer duration. Meet a gastroenterologist for black stools. Urimax d does not cause this.

My father is 65 years of age and a diabetic patient. He is facing problem of frequent urination in day time but it increases at night and he has to go for urination 10-15 times at night time.
