Hi Mohammed, why are you taking Defcort for kidney stones. defcort is for ureteric stones, you do not need that medication for kidney stones. Having said that, the erection problem seems unrelated to the said medication.

tamsulosin (tamiflu) being an alpha 1 receptor blocker, blocks the insulin independent glucose uptake, thereby causing hyperglycaemia. In your case, fasting sugar 250, the level of increase is little inappropriate, but still possible
so would suggest to do hba1c, closer check on sugars at varied timings of the day to check control.

It's in your best interest if you consult a pulmonologist (dm pulmonary medicine or md chest and tb) who will assess her again and ascertain the need to restart deflazacort. Although you should not discontinue this medicine abuptly but now when you have already done you should not restart it by yourself.

I will personally suggest not to take deflazacort beacuse you seem to much worried about low dose weak steroid but for that I need to see your detail sonography report
why you are prescribed steroid at all please contact for further query.

Ya proper work up is also needed .during pandemics taking steroids not very scientific so better review it now pls get in touch for a better work up

It is good only for 10 days, only in case the stones are smaller than 6 mm, you have healthy kidneys and no urine infection.
