My father complained for negative thoughts and uneasiness in the beginning of Feb fir which we visited a psychiatrist he prescribed Nexito plus on the same day he was diagnosed with hp and admitted in the icu. On discharge it was diagnosed anxiety disorder with hypertension and started inderal 40 Nexito trika But in next days his condition got worse and was in panic attack. Took him to another doc. He said as the Nexito dose was suddenly decreased it could have caused such panic attack. This was on 16th feb. Till 27th feb he wss Nexito fort oleanz. During this period he had no sleep and frequent panic attacks. Then on 5th march he was taken to another psychiatrist he stopped all medicines and started trinicalm rivotril and phengranne and told to fear test. Next week the reports suggested 24 score and depression. And currently he is on above medicines plus serenace 1.5 mg and trika The symptoms are different every week since feb. Now he does not talk much does not respond unable to do basic activities. One day he will be better and another day he will not. Sleep is less. Certain things trigger him. Previously panic attacks he used to get where he was hallucinating about negative things but now he keeps quiet but does not sleep.

Risperidone is pregnancy category c. Which means use if benefits outweigh the risks. Same for asprito. There are not enough studies to say that the drug is safe during pregnancy. Having said that mental health of mother during and after pregnancy is of utmost importance. So many a times medication is necessary and you should consult a psychiatrist for the same.
Hope this helps. All the best!

It is irritation of diaphragm and you may have to check up and decide on medication .Various agents have been reported to cure hiccups. Chlorpromazine appears to be the drug of choice. Haloperidol and metoclopramide have been used successfully. Several anticonvulsant agents (eg, phenytoin, valproic acid, and carbamazepine) have effectively treated intractable hiccups in typical anticonvulsant doses
