it is difficult to say the exact cause of pain without more details from you. Post fever chest pain can be due to pleuritis or pericarditis that is inflammation of outer covering of your chest organs. It can also be due to gastric reflux and hyperacidity owing to the antacids being taken during illness. If you had cough then this pain could be muscular secondary to frequent coughing.
