Asked for female, 33 years old from Delhi

1. A person diagnosed with ocd, psychosis and multiple personality disorder was secretly given fludac 40 (mg) and risperidone (0.5 mg) as prescribed by the doctor. Now this doctor is stating that his case is that of psychosis and asked us to continue these medicine for 2 more weeks, after which he should be admitted. Concern is if he is admitted for rehabilitation by force, consequences can be very negative (he can turn hostile) 2. Another doctor was consulted. He suggested against admitting. However, he suggested to immediately stop the above medicines and to start with haloperidol. However, concern is won't abrupt withdrawal of fludac and risperidone cause negative repercussions and withdrawal symptoms? please suggest what should be done?

from the above details its clear that your patient was on fludac and risperidone. Now that you want to stop these medications and want to start haloperidol but are concerned about any harmful withdrawal effects of previous medication.

My father 74 year of age suffered with anxiety and depression. I consulted doctor a (neurologist: he prescribed – serlift 100 mg (1 time, zapiz 0.25 (3 time) but no improvement taking it for 12 days. Then I consulted doctor b (physiatrist: he prescribed – serenace 0.25 (1 time, dimip 10 (1 time, trazonil 0.25 (1 time), f-thikol 0.5 (1 clonotril 0.25 (sos) time) .we see improvement from day 1 and got almost well .after 1.5 month doctor stopped serenace 0.25 and trazonil 0.25 but anxiety came back. Then I consulted doctor c (physiatrist: he prescribed - symbal 30 (1, trazonil 50 (1, etizola beta 25 (2, clonotril 0.25 (sos) and cbt (1 time) but no improvement .my father took this medicine for 15 days and he got more week. Then I went back to doctor b and he gave same medicine and after 4-5 days my father has 60% improvement. Please suggest me what to do. Doctor c says medicine of doctor b is obsolete and doctor b says medicine of doctor c is high drug. I want to know if the current treatment is fine ?and how long we should take this medicine?

Hi Sir, My husband is suffering from anxiety disorder since last 3 years. He is under treatment of a doctor based at faridabad. At present he is taking following medicines nexito 20, dothip 75, serenace 0.25 (1,1,2) and zapiz in sos. He was feeling better a month ago but now he feels like crying in the morning. He is a chief manager in bank and doing his job perfectly. He was posted out of home for last 3 years but now he is back to home. He has no cause to worry but he is always over thinking. He had this anxiety attack in 1993 for 6 months, then in 2007 for 1 year and this is his 3rd attack. How can his condition improve. Please help. The doctor asks him not to take zapiz frequently. He is worried for taking so many medicines. Please suggest.

your husband has been suffering from anxiety disorder he is on 2 antidepressants and an antipsychotic (the low dose has been used for anti anxiety
if he has relapsed he could
1.take a local psychiatrist s advise
2.who will probably think about adjustment of dose or changing medication 3.see a psychologist for therapy and counseling
4.he should use less of zapiz as it is not very good for his asthma.

Hello sir/mam im 21 years old I have been friendly check the bp which shows 150-90 on the time I scared fully and than consult gp they gave me ciplar 40, serenace 0.25 for a month and after completion of this course again I checked my bp which shows 155-95 than I consulted another gp they gave me etizolam 0.25 for 15 days after all completion of the course I checked bp its still 140-90 so I go through with ecg, renal doppler, lipid profile, cholesterol all are normal but every day I scared of it please help me come out of it?

Hello,
your bp might be high because of anxiety while checking bp. It is called as white coat hypertension. If you want to confirm if you really have high bp, you need to do 24 hours ambulatory bp monitoring (abpm)

My age is 50 and I have problem in hearing, as per pta report right ear has profound hearing loss (93. 33dbhl), left ear has moderate sensorineural hearing loss (51. 6dbhl) private clinic recommended usage of digital hearing aid (anervit plus med) and govt doctor recommended meds (ofloxacin opthalmic soln, zincostar, gcobal 500, flunil 60) for 15 days and told not to use hearing aid I am also on psychiatric medication (flunil 60, serenace 10, pacitane 2 mg, spenzo depot 20) my query is in my 50's should I go for hearing aid, if yes it should be digital or analog?

Hello sir/mam im 21 year old male from past 1 month simply checked my blood pressure which shows 140-90 and suddenly I feared, scared over night and then I checked in morning again it shows 150-90 I really become frustrated and I consulted cardiologist and they give me ciplar-40 & serenace. 0.25 for a month and I completed every tablet for mont and than I checked bp again it shows 160-95 it looked me so scary, feared please advice me sir what steps should I take? Hello, My niece is suffering from schizophrenia for almost 2.3 years she is taking serenace 5 mg and now started with seroquel 100 mg daily, she is very much aggressive and sometime slap a person sitting near by, lot of appetite eats too much and gained a lot of weight. Since start of seroquel she sleeps peacefully in the night but by the sun set she starts crying with very loud voice seems to be depressed or do not know what exactly makes her cry a lot. She was actually mistreated by brothers those put her in locked room and also being beaten by them. Please advise.

Hello,
it is difficult to say the exact cause of pain without more details from you. Post fever chest pain can be due to pleuritis or pericarditis that is inflammation of outer covering of your chest organs. It can also be due to gastric reflux and hyperacidity owing to the antacids being taken during illness. If you had cough then this pain could be muscular secondary to frequent coughing.
