Hi!
vitiligo is an auto immune disease which has relapses and remissions. Being auto immune ,it can be associated with other auto immune diseases like thyroid ,diabetis, asthma etc. You have to check those once in 3 to 6 months for vitiligo to be under control. Moreover, you need immunosuppresants like cyclosporine or azathioprine to control the spread of the disease. Hello, The dermatologist has started you on treatment for vitiligo there are chances of genetic connection but the severity cannot be predicted. Most pediatric vitiligo are segmental or small patches and tend to be non progressive. Followup with your dermatologist.

Sorry to know that you are still suffering for last two years. But what puzzles me more is you mentioned your condition as morphea but treatment that you took has nothing to do in morphea. So I think you need a re-assessment. Since you are under treatment from a dermatologist I feel that you may have two condition co; existing. But that could certainly be said only after consultation and examination. So please visit a dermatologist again either in person or online.
