Hello,
1. The first thing is to shift to the lowest dose possible of Carbamazepine, if you have not had seizure for 2-3 years try to taper it off. Get the level tested to confirm lowest pharmacologic level essential. Take Folic Acid supplement 4 mg /day.

Rule out high blood pressure or any other kidney problem
do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting.
Any way take
ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days
do knee exercises
it may have to be further investigated
make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
You will need other supportive medicines also.
Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear lybrate-user,
a combination of three drugs is not a very good idea and is rarely required. You have not mentioned the kind of epilepsy you are having, no of seizures in last 6 months if any, your weight. You must also ask for help for suicidal tendency and discuss it with your family and psychiatrist if required. But surely your medication needs to be reviewed and streamlined as it seems to be totally haphazard.

you can go for a percutaneous baloon decompression which is done on day care basis or a surgery known as micro vascular decompression which is very major surgery but i think you should get your medications reorganised and try once more before going for surgery
