Dear lybrate-user, egg is released usually between 24-48 hours after the injection.
We cannot know on ultrasound about egg fetilization. The earliest way to know about pregnancy is to go for a blood test after 12 d of ovulation.

The treatment for infertility is never 100 percent. Only with multiple cycles is someone able to conceive. Only a few couples conceive in first time. So be patient, and continue the treatment with your infertility specialist. The medicines you had were to improve egg quality but there are a lot of other factors affecting fertility. Like tubes, endometrial lining, husband sperms etc.

It seems like a case of missed abortion, as no cardiac activity and heavy periods might have flushed out some. Part of your foetus, ideally on such a situation hcg and progesterone pills or injections are of no use as these pregnancy support pills and injections have not worked in your case, probably bcz ,either they were not given you well on time to save your pregnancy or there must have been some foetal anamoly which didn't allow these pills to show their effect.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Yes. You read it right. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce. Hai.
Since you are under your doctor's treatment, it will be best to take their advice on this. But you will have to wait for the pregnancy test for conformation. Physical symptoms usually start only after 8 weeks.
Best wishes.
