Hypothyroid caused by diminished hormonal availibility will always be kept under control by thyronorm or eltroxin only. Other medicines mentioned have no role. You are supposed to be visiting your doctor periodically, regularly for monitoring tsh levels by blood test and making suitable fixing of dosage of thyronorm life long. There should be no problem.

Lybrate-user, hyperthyroidism is treated in the following manner:
1) using anti thyroid drugs like methimazole, carbimazole or propylthiouracil. One of these drugs is given for a period of 18 to 24 months. This causes suppression of thyroid gland. Occasionally after 18 to 24 months normal function returns. Treatment is discontinued. However, in many cases suppression does not occur. Then other options are considered.

Take oral antibiotic (augmentin duo 625 mg) daily two time. If this causes diarrhoea and pain abdomen, you can take probiotics (vizylac, enterogermina, prolactam, sporolac ). Painkillers (tab zerodol sp daily 2 times after meal) along with tab pan 40 before meal, if you have pain, fever, headache. Topical betadene ointment or tbact ointment along with cleaning with hydrogen peroxide solution. If no improvement occur, consult with your dermatologist.

Post operative wash with simple water is sufficient. At the most, you may add a small amount of antiseptic do not try other soln for this delicate structure.

All dairy products (milk, sour cream, cheese, cream, yoghurt, butter, ice cream)
Margarine.
Egg yolks.FOODS THAT ARE OK
Non-iodized salt may be used as desired
Egg whites
Homemade bread made with non-iodized salt and oil (not soy!) instead of butter or milk or commercially-baked breads which do not contain iodate dough conditioners, dairy, or eggs

As long as you take nutritionally rich diet, you don't need vitamin supplements. Take iodised salt.
You don't have to restrict salt intake unless you have any medical condition.
