Dear lybrate user. It is pathetic to state that you are unable to come out of your past thoughts. You forgot many things and you can forget these to. Only problem is, psychology says, if you try hard to forget something, it will continue haunting you. Therefore, I suggest not to try forget the past. Instead, learn to relish the past. I suggest online counseling and cognitive therapy. Take care.

the issues you are facing are not relevant to neurology. It's in your best interest if you consult a psychiatrist in person and discuss regarding possibility of anxiety or depressive disorder. He/she will probably prescribe you some antidepressant medicine which the neurologist might not think of.
