You must go for general checkup.
It is a risk factor not a disease ,pateint should understand the difference between risk factor and disease.

Avoid high cholesterol foods, avoid spicy and oily / junk foods. Avoid salty foods. Avoid stress. Do exercise daily. Do yoga and meditation. Avoid high calorie foods. Non-veg. More alcohol. Smoking.
Take dalia in morning, salaad, low fat lassi, whole grain foods. Green veg.

as per the results of your lipid profile you can maintain it by eating healthy foods in your diet like- fruits, salads, pulses and legumes, oats, dalia, green leafy vegetables, eggs, chicken, fish etc. Avoid high salt in foods, fried, carbonated drinks, alcohol, smoking, junk foods.
Also with this do some exercises like walk at least 20-30 mins will help maintain a healthy life.
