various imp side -effects.
so ,ideally these drugs. Are to be prescribed when& only when TB is diagnosed beyond doubt.

Home remedy for chronic constipation n flatulence-
bel's pulp (bilva, aegle marmelos)- 100 gm
sonf - 100 gm
isabgol - 100 gm
cardamom (small) - 100 gm
mix all well with sugar (300 gm)- store this granulated powder well.
Consume 10 gm in morning before breakfast with lukewarm water.
Repeat 10 gm at night after meals with lukewarm water.

While taking these medications shall I need high protein diet. Is water intake should be less in pleural effusion. How much water can I take in one day.

It is important to have good nutrition when you are having tuberculosis. Your body needs good nourishment to heal. High protein diet of 1 mg/kg of body weight is recommended unless you have some other ailment that requires restrictions on protein. At least 2litres of water intake is advisable. Your water intake will not affect your pleural effusion. Water restrictions needed if you have heart or kidney issues.

I just got into maintenance phase in tb treatment because I finished my 2 months medication before im taking 3 tablets of quadmax now my doctor gave me 1 tablet of Rifampicin isoniazid 450 mg/400 mg a day. I forgot to ask my doctor if I need to continue drinking 3 tablets of quadmax. Do I need to take also 3 tablets of quadmax or the 1 tablet of rifampicin isoniazid only?

After the 2 months of initial therapy you need only two drugs( INH and Rifampicin) for next 4 months

Firstly you should go for proper investigation to rule out MDR TB. At least CB NAAT should be done.

All the above four medicines can be safely taken during pregnancy, none of them cause any fetal malformations.
You will have to continue these medicines throughout pregnancy. You should be under continuos care of your gynaecologist and physician throughout pregnancy and follow their advice.

You can take the drugs.
Hope you are taking tab pyridoxine (vit b6) 20 mg once with your akt
and your baby shld be on inh prophylaxis for latent tb after pediatric consultation.
