I am lady aged 47 years, suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for the last 10 years. Taking medicines as prescribed by my doctor. The medicines are alfa calanm, naproxen tablets ip 500 once daily (when pain and swelling). This I am taking after completing medicine course of hcqs. I am still having pain and swelling on my finger joints. Please suggest some remedy ?

l if you are a known case of rheumatoid arthritis these are not the medications you should be on. Naprosyn on long term is not good nor would it help control the disease. You need the medications for rheumatoid to control the disease do let me know your location so I can guide you to a rheumatologist regards

Looks like you have developed rheumatic arthritis as a complication of rheumatic fever. Get it evaluated by doing some blood investigations and 2d echo.

Dr. my problem started with loose motions I took medicines and suddenly one day I had I horrible kind of chest pain it was not getting better I went to doctors and they guessed it to be costochondritis but not sure. The chest pain went on till 3 months and still no response even after taking several OTC's i.e Naproxen and some other medicines but now I am rid of that pain but have another pain which is headache on my right side which comes to the eye also .It has also been a month since I have been experiencing it.

My regular period flow start and lasted for 4 days and post that I had light spotting for 9-10 days. And after a gap of 3-4 days light spotting started again. Which lasted for 2-3 days. And now after a gap of a week today again the light flow/spotting has started. I'm experiencing this for the first time. Is this normal? I have taken medicine for cold montelukast and for headache saridon or naproxen. Can this be a side effect of any of these medicines?

I have read Ayurveda to be effective in treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. I visited a ayurvedic doctor and he gave me some medicine's, he was very confident in treatment. I want to know if I can take ayurvedic medicines with allopathic ones. Ayurvedic doctor said I can take no issues from him. But I want to be sure.

Health Query

I have been experiencing headache since 2 weeks. It changes the locations but it spreads almost everywhere. I have pain when I move my head, especially when I lower it. Right now pain has moved from the sides to the back of my right ear and neck. Before it has been around my eyes, front, temples, etc. It happens that I fall asleep with it and I wake up with a headache. I have tried aspirin, paracetamol, ibuprofen, naproxen but nothing works. Can you suggest me any medicine that would help somehow. Thank you.

Are you having any other symptoms like running nose or fever. Headache which increases on lowering your head may be due to frontal sinusities. Get an x-ray pns done. It can also be a migraine. For the time being I suggest you to take flunarrazine 10 mg at bed time for 1 week,

I am 24 years old male. I am suffering from headache since 1 year. My head pains at eyebrow area specially left one than right. It feels like something is hitting that area and if I press it hard I feel better but its only temporary. Pain usually starts during morning and it increases during noon. Previously it was reduced during evening time but from past 1 month its severe and pain last all day. I am facing this every 2-4 days per week. During headache I feel vomit sensation and I can not even sleep during day time as I want to relax. I have taken these medicines which was suggested by doctors-Crocin, Disprin,Acenac, Anaflam, Tramadol,Combiflam, Vasograin, Headset, Rizact. In all of the above my pain is only reduced by Rizact (rizatriptan - 5/10 mg) & Headset, remaining of them are useless as it does not even work and can not even reduce pain by 5%. My eyesight is 6/6 and I am not a smoker/alcoholic. Its been 3 months and I feel this headache almost now and then. I have started homeopathic treatment as well but It does not treated my symptoms so far. Kindly let me know what I need to get checked. Suggest some way to treat this.

I have been using tranquilizers and depression medicines for the last 18 years. My depression occurred due to extreme tension and tiredness in work at the age of puberty. My father and friends forbade me to exert such pressure and exertion on myself as I was devoted to work and studies and did both at the same time but I didn't pay heed and the result is I am in never ending depression which kills me and I am unable to get sleep without these medications. My diagnosis is schizophrenia, bipolar and depression. I am never married single of age 36 years. The medications are ziprasidone hcl 40 mg, ozip plus 3/25 mg and qusel 100 mg all at night. I am having complaint of extreme headache and pain in head muscles and head meat. Doctor prescribed me naproxen 500 mg which cured me but the headache reoccurred when I stopped naproxen 500 mg after 10 doses. The doctor again prescribed me this along with sibelium 5 mg (flunarizine hcl). I google and found that sibelium interacts with depression medicines and tranquilizers and is forbidden for depression patients. My question is shall I take sibelium 5 mg at night along with my above mentioned tranquilizers? Please help me.
