You can get the same medicine in India with a different brand name, SIZODON LIQUID, with a doctor's prescription.

Hello,
It seems that the diagnosis of schizophrenia has been confirmed and she has placed on medication. there is an urgent need for her to continue the medication and schizophrenia needs to be controlled. IVF can be carried out at the same time. But remember that medication for schizophrenia is must for her. there is no definite proof as yet that resperidone can harm the fetus and it shouyld be used as the benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to fetus

Good morning,
We now have medications that do not have the same side effects of the medication for schizophrenia that you mention. I believe you brother needs to switch either gradually from the medication that he is currently on to a more benign although potent medication. An expert psychiatrist is who you need to consult. I believe this can be done online since a change in medications can be monitored for tolerability and effects as usual since you already have experience with the medicat...more

I don't think sizodon has any impact on our immune system. There is some confusion about the medications by pediatrician. You could continue medications without doubt and there could be other reasons for kids i'll health which needs evaluation. I would suggest you to take a second opinion about fever and other health issues. If at all you have to discontinue sizodon. You can stop it gradually by making it 0.25 ml for a week or so and then stop.

Dear Yubaraj,
Your wife may be having psychotic symptoms also along with depression. Amitriptyline and clonazepam have side effect of sedation. However she is taking rest and getting up for food and toilet. She would have got used to these drugs in 2 days. Now you can give risperidone also. Risperidone does not come as 5. Maybe it is 0.5.
However discuss with your doctor about drowsiness without stopping the drug. You should weigh whether drowsiness is worse or her symptoms are worse.

It is not advisable to take clozapine only for Sleep. There are several other alternatives to use to improve sleep especially if you find risperidone is helping to improve your condition and there are no major side effects. If so Please stay on risperidone and ask your Psychiatrist to add sleeping tablet.

Dear thanks for asking your querry here. You concern is genuine. For psychosis the dose of risperidone is less. But the dose of fludac for ocd is ok. I am not aware about current psychotic symptoms of your brother. If still he has delusion or hallucoinations, you may ask for a review by his psychiatrist who may consider increasing the dose of risperidone.

Dear Ashok,
It is difficult to live with dementia. For you it is difficult to see her without talking or overtalking. At the age of 81 years most of her systems work less efficiently. You have to learn to use trial and error method to adjust drugs's dose.
For the time being, please continue Donamem. Try and stop Sizodon. Manage her with trika. If she is hyper, give her again Sizodon 0.5 mg once a day, probably at night when you don't want her to be hyper.
Please check any other medic...more
