Your HbA1C report is important to monitor. It should be within 6. 5% though many people say till 7% is acceptable. I believe you need titration of medicine. You can take a second opinion.

Avoid sugar, jaggery,honey in any form. Also avoid sweet fruits like mangoes, banana,grapes, cheekoo etc. Take lots of vegetables and salad. Take small frequent meals instead of large ones. Maintain ideal body weight. Exercise regularly.
