You can definitely try therapy for 5-6 months along with these medicines. Then, when you are able to deal with your negative automatic thoughts, you can challenge yourself by reducing and stopping these medicines.

what is the severity of ocd? If you can manage without daxid for first 11-12 weeks, it will be better. If you think that your ocd will affect your child, it is better to continue along with folic acid 5 mg daily. Please do an u/s scan for abnormality at 11th week. All the best.

Meditation helps depression only by reducing the time of thinking about your actual troubling problems as you concentrate more on things unrelated to those problems at least for some time.
