Dear lybrate-user,
daxid does not affect the eye pressure. Have faith in your doctors. Ocd affects the quality of your life. It is your choice to live with ocd or continue to take daxid.

There is nothing called better or inferior. All medications are tailored to an individual depending on the symptoms, response and tolerability. Over the Counter self medication and self medication by googling is dangerous to one's body and mind. Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine and can cause severe dependence and side effects on a longer run. Escitalopram ad Sertraline are SSRI's and need to be prescribed carefully adjusting/ titrating dosage by a psychiatrist. Hope this info helps.

Daxid is an antidepressant. You should take only if a Dr. Has prescribed. If you are taking on your own, please stop, as you may not be taking for right reasons and in right dosage. If you are having a feeling of continuous sadness, then you should try natural methods first. Do 30 mins exercise daily and eat more natural foos like fruits, green veggies, nuts & coconut water. You will feel better.

Slightly it might. But with regular diet and physical activity you can have normal weight. Even people not on medications are sedentary these days and put on weight, so from your side see the efforts you have made.

Dear Lybrate user. There is no such good or bad anti-depression medicines as you mentioned. A particular drug gives good results for one person and the same gives a different result in another person. That's why the follow up by the same doctor is always encouraged.
