Dear Himayush,
These drugs can cause erectile dysfunction. It is one of the side effects. You are only 21 yrs old. You may be single. Why don't you manage your OCD better with these drugs. Once drugs are stopped, your erection will be normal. It is reversible.

Hello Lybrate User, usually once you get near normal improvement with medicines the same should continue for 3-6 months for further stabilization and then gradually tapered and stopped. You should follow tapering of medicines under guidance of your treating psychiatrist. Please dont stop medicine suddenly as it may lead to relapse of symptoms.

Although testosterone can help you for short term, it is not recommended unless we know the actual cause for this condition. I recommend you to have your serum testosterone check in the morning before breakfast. Also avoid taking viagra or any tablet related to that as it can really took a toll on your heart since you already have a heart condition.

Sertraline and mirtazapine can be prescribed together.
As per what schedule you r taking its correct, avoid taking them together as mirtazapine in morning hours may cause drowsiness.
My comments are only useful" if you are taking a valid prescription after consulting psychiatrist"

Since you are already on medication I suggest you talk to your treating Psychiatrist and convey your current symptoms to them. It is possible that some changes in medication dosages will help improve the symptoms. As they are familiar with your history it is always better to have a discussion with them regarding this situation.

Dear user. I can understand. You are YOU. Whatever your behavior today, whatever your body language today are learned from your past experiences and social interactions. Whatever you have learned can be unlearned or over written. This is a continuous process happening throughout your life. I suggest cognitive behavior therapy for you. Take care.
