If you are only on sernace 0.5 mg tablets and no other medications, then you can certainly stop the medication if that is what was planned by your psychiatrist. If however, you are on multiple medications as mentioned in the medication list, we would like to know more about your condition before proceeding forwards with your problems and solutions.

Dear Varsha,
It is nice of you to continue to treat your mother for many years. Schizophrenia is a lifelong disorder just like diabetes or high BP. So your mother needs lifelong treatment. Senorm LA is a better way to be sure that she takes the drug regularly. It usually acts for 2-4 weeks. You can NOT give as per requirement. If she develops any positive symptoms like hallucination or delusion, it is difficult to go with rehabilitation process (making her a useful person in family/society)...more

Never attempt to take medicines on your own. I feel the psychiatrist whom you have contacted might have advised some physical activity. Please follow them. Still if you don't get relief then you can consult.

You seem to have developed specific phobia leading to chronic anxiety. You have developed a non helpful strategy to deal with this anxiety, that is taking a sleeping pill or serenace. This behaviour perpetuates your anxiety rather than help you overcome. You will greatly benefit from counselling and a review in your medications. Please consult for further help.
