Rosuvastatin is a medicine for dyslipidemias and not for hypertension. Consult your prescribing doctor for the reason it was started. In patients with coronary artery diseases and diabetes usually life long some lipid lowering drug is required. The dose and the actual drug can be modified depending upon certain parameters.
Visit your cardiologist or endocrinologist for the same.

Stop clopidogrel after discussing with your Dr. Two blood thinners are required for about one year of stent. They can usually be reduced to aspirin alone after that. Atorva 20 can be reduced too, but better to do so 12 weeks after improving diet. Traditional balanced diet is healthier for heart than restricted modern diet. Beat wishes.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.

Please tell me whether you have any problems related with your joints? Because high urea concentration can lead to gouty arthritis. Lipid profile is fine. If you want to take Rosumac capsule can do so. It is usually taken for a considerably long time. However, your cholesterol is not at all high. I really do not see the reas...more
