Rosuvastatin is a medicine for dyslipidemias and not for hypertension. Consult your prescribing doctor for the reason it was started. In patients with coronary artery diseases and diabetes usually life long some lipid lowering drug is required. The dose and the actual drug can be modified depending upon certain parameters.
Visit your cardiologist or endocrinologist for the same.

Hi. thankyou for the query.
Alcohol will not only interact with your medication but it will also increase your triglyceride levels further.
Please avoid alcohol before it further complicates your condition. Just taking medication will not solve your problem. You need to improve your diet and lifestyle.

Hi lybrate-user, You are at a tricky situation. Roseday F is unlikely to cause fatty liver.
If you want to help yourself, here's what I can recommend:
1. Dedicate time for regular exercise. Target 150 minutes per week.
2. Take dietitian help. Some weight loss will help you lower your triglyceride levels.
3. Check for Diabetes and Thyroid issues if not done already.
4. Absolute abstinence from alcohol is advised. Just give it a try, see how your cholesterol levels behave after...more
