You are on multiple medications as well as you have medical comorbidity. It is advisable you discuss this matter with your treating psychiatrist as they are aware of your medical background. There is risk of interaction between medicines leading to adverse side effects if all information is not taken into account. It is better to consult your Psychiatrist in person regarding this matter.

His gf again started talking for 1-2 days and then blocked him telling she has other bf, he was a very bright student but now he is struggling to pass. Again he has started fearing, and feels everyone wants to harm him, has started hating me, he just keep on saying i'll complete my chapters but he's not able to study even if he's trying. His marks in test has deteriorated from 660 to 190. He even don't know what has happened to him. We give medicine in food. Should we tell him what has happened to him because is not ready to go to doc. Is the medicine right or should we go and see somewhere else? Please help me.

Yes, he needs to know what his problem is. The medication seems to be suitable but it needs to work in the long run. If it is not having a desirable effect, then either consult the same doctor or go to another to review the medication or dosage. He has a serious condition and must accompany medication with psychotherapy. This will take a long time and expect many relapses if he does not cooperate. for cooperation, he must know what his problem is and his involvement in his recovery is very impor...more

Sizodon ls is not a antidepressant medication, it s an antipsychotic. Your daughter must be suffering from psychosis, if the psychiatrist has prescribed this. If for past 1 year there is no recovery, you need to get a 2nd opinion. Since sizodon make the person drowsy, whether it is chronic schizophrenia, or something else.

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query.
Madam since you have hypothyroidism and on levothyroxine for controlling it, it is most important to take that medication regularly in correct dosage and maintain tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l. At that level all the symptoms of hypothyroidism are well in check. As regards high bp with treatment it should be maintained around 120 to 130 / 70 to 80 mm hg.
As regards some medicine name mentioned, that really has no role, if you take above mentioned care. Than...more
