Hi lybrate-user
risnia is used in multiple health conditions with varying doses depending on the diagnosis, age of the person, response to the medication, adverse effects experienced/expected and lot more factors. It's in your best interest if you consult a nearby psychiatrist in-person who can assess you and guide further regarding the need for medication and appropriate dosing and future optimization of same.
I wish you stay happy and healthy!

Dear lybrate-user, There are a lot of effective medications (mood stabilisers) available for bipolar mood disorder. However, these medications differ in their mechanism of action and side effect profiles. The dose of the medications also has to be adjusted for every patient so as to have maximum benefit with minimal side effect.
I will strongly recommend that you should not self treat but start treatment only under the supervision of a qualified psychiatrist. Hope you find this helpful.

Dear IWJWKW,
Taking risnia plus will NOT interfere with your brother becoming father. But how effective is the treatment of schizophrenia, does he earn money to support a family, does he know his responsibilities of becoming a father, etc should be the deciding factors.

It seems like you are on medications for ocd, depression and anxiety for the last 2 years. You also seem to mention that you have not improved. It may be worthwhile using different medications since you are already optimized on good doses of all the medications you mention. Also it is worth going through your history before giving any suggestions here. We welcome your questions and any concerns you may have regarding your treatment.
Look forward to hearing from you. If you need help with boo...more
