you need to talk to the doctor about this, depending upon his condition and scan the treatment can range from 9 Months to 12 months.

Treatment of PTB is usauly by 4 drugs and dose is calculated on weight basis.As you are diabetic,your intensive phage should have been for 3 months and not for 1 month and also maintenance phage of ATT should be of 6 month,so total of 9 month treatment has to be taken. You should have periodic xray chest, sputum AFB and liver function test done.Your diabetic should be under control ,otherwise all treatment will be waste.

Yeah that is how the treatment for tb is done. For the next 4 months she has to continue rifampicin and isoniazid.

Hi as per your infromation ,akt4 have 4 salt rifampicin ,isoniazid ,ethambutol, pyrazinamide, many times seen that pyrazinamid have side effects of joint pain, then it must be better for confirm blood test for better examination of osterarthrits and rehumatoid like cbc, esr, anti ccp test ,rf factor.

Both brands have same dose, the total dose is calculated by number of tablets prescribed to patient per day.
Name of the brand should not concern you, please focus on patient's nutritional and gen health issues.

In most TB cases ,patient need rifampicin, isoniazid and ethambutol sfter 2 months of intensive phase.
