The treatment advised to you seems reasonable. You can add high fibre diet like green leafy vegetables and fruits, lots of water intake and increase in physical activities. Losartan is anti hypertensive so if given will reduce the bp which can be risky in person with normal bp.

Losartan is used to treat high blood pressure. It is possible that doctor must have prescribed it for controlling the high BP. Since there is no mention of any BP readings, it is difficult for me to know exactly. Thanks.

Normally losartan works for 24 hrs but in some cases we increase the dose to twice a day. Get one a b p ie ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (24 hrs) done.

3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds twice daily after food 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food
5. Consult doctor, if no relief.
