There is no difference between both the injections. The terms methylcobalamin and mecobalamin are interchangeable. The short form is mecobalamin and the vitamin b12 scientific name is methylcobalamin.

Dear lybrateuser,
- Take a vitaminB12 supplement for your problem, folic acid is not required
- also take a proper diet rich in vit B12, it is mainly found in non - veg foods like liver, other organ meats, red meat, eggs, fish, fortified cereals, low fat milk & milk products.

Hi
becosule contains only 15 mcg of methylcobalamine (b12) but also has other vitamin b complexes. So it should be fine to take both of them. Also at yoyears age, I would advice you to start taking calcium and d3 after going for dexa scan as with age, calcium and d3 deficiencies are common cause of weak bones. Regards.

Mr. lybrate-user, rejunex cd3 has nothing to do with your hba1c levels. Hba1c or glycated hemoglobin is a marker of your glucose control in the last 3 months. Hba1c more than 6.5 indicates poor glucose control and is seen in diabetics.
I do not believe in excess supplements. Your body absorbs what is required and excretes the rest. Excess intake of supplements will just be excreted by your kidneys or stool.

Dear lybrate-user,
don't diagnose the disease from the tablets. The same tablet can be given for many disorders at different dose. It will work for depression in 2-3 weeks, if the dose is adequate. If you want to help her, please discuss with her psychiatrist. She needs simultaneous treatment for her hypothyroidism and diabetes also.
