U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome.And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.

There is artificial insulin pump and also artificial pancreas which is being used in other parts of the world. But they work on mathematical algorithms for release of insulin in the body dependant on sugar load that the body is having- but they release synthetic insulin stored in them not natural insulin secreted by the body. Mr. Lybrate-user, when on insulin some times hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) develops. That may cause some of the symptoms mentioned. If you are doing self monitoring of blood glucose (smbg), at home then you should check the glucose level when you feel such symptoms and see if there really a low level (<70 mg or lower). Mr vivek, may I know why you are interested in shifting to insulin injections? usually in t2 dm people shit to insulin when the sugar control is not good with oral anti diabetic drugs. Hence please give details about current fasting, pp sugar levels and hba1c% and your physical activity. If you feel shifting is needed, it can be done any time and will help in better control.
