Usually it is due to minor crack in the delicate inner skin of nose mostly due to nose picking by children. It can occur frequently during cold due to itching inside the nose. When there is bleed from nose. Pinch the nose for 5 minutes and let the child breath from mouth. Bleeding will stop. If not, continue pinching the nose and mouth breathing and reach to a doctor or a clinic which attends emergency calls.
