It appears you have completed full course of 5 doses 2 months prior to recent episode. Vaccine course normally gives immunity for one year after the course. However if available antibody titre for vaccine is tested. If above 0.5 iu/ml, 2 injections are advised days 0 and 3. But if antibody test is not available three doses are recommended 0. 3 and 7.in my opinion three points are relevant and important. 1. Rabies has no treatment 2. Bite was by stray cat. 3. 1) there is no side effect form the second dose of TT and it will behave like a booster and you need not take any TT for the next 3-5 years and if you keep taking one TT every 3 or 5 years, you will be protected for the lifetime
2) There is no need for antirabies injection as the kitten is groomed in your own house and id healthy not bitten or infected by a rabid animal
