Dear Sir If you are not able to tolerate Quetiapine and if you are experiencing side effects with the medication, please see a psychiatrist in person for a detailed discussion. You can change or adjust the medicine. However, I will strongly advice you not to stop the medicine on your own as it can result in a relapse of your mental health problems. Thanks Regards.

Both are same group of medications with minor variations, both can be taken along with your psychiatrist medications, choose which controls acidity best for you, since different people respond to either. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user
If you are not satisfied with one doctor's opinion, you always have the right to a second or third opinion.
Quetiapine has multiple uses and it will be very difficult for you to just read online and try to figure out what you have.
Work with your family as well as a couple of other psychiatrists.
Regards Dr. Atul.
