Pulse rate of 55 to 65 per minute is absolutely normal. I do not understand why you have felt this as a problem. In healthy and fit individuals, more so who are regularly doing exercise or involved in some sports activities, pulse rate at rest is usually low. That only shows that the heart has extra capacity to supply more blood if needed in strenuous activity. However, it is better if BP is maintained around 130/ 80 mm Hg.

If you have not had a Cardiology follow up since your angioplasty then I would suggest you have one and at the same time your blood pressure and weight issues can be addressed. You need ti get an upper gi endoscopy done to see for hiatal hernia, any ulcers in stomach if present from prolonged acid problem can cause blood in stools causing darkening of stool.
